    Frequently Asked Questions

How many people will this plan feed?

It’s designed for roughly two people. If you are single, you can simply cut some of the recipes out or make all the food and build up your frozen food bank.

    I can’t cook. Can I do this?!

I keep my cooking methods as simple and stupid-easy as possible while still allowing you to create delicious flavor and tasty meals that will motivate you to keep eating healthily. Sometimes the scariest part of cooking is know what to make and when. I’ve got that covered.

Are the meals in Easy Paleo Meal Plans really paleo?

Yes. The recipes are based on meat, seafood, and eggs; veggies and fruit; and healthy fats. That means they’re free of grains, gluten, legumes, dairy (except ghee which is optional), excess sugar, alcohol, and unhealthy fats.

Steph, I’m really busy. How much time do I need to do these meal plans?

You’re going to need one big trip to the grocery store per week and one big chunk of time to do some meal prepping. That big weekly cook-up (scheduled for a weekend day) will probably take 2 to 3 hours, but it’s going to save you TONS of time in the days ahead. You’ll already have food to pull out of the fridge and freezer. You may need another 30 to 60 minutes total per day to fill out the rest of the meals. I can’t make you more minutes in the day, but I can help you prepare food more efficiently.

I can’t eat certain foods because I’m on {AIP, Whole30, low FODMAP, etc}. Will this plan work for me?

A vast majority of my recipes are already Whole30-friendly, so if you’re doing one, you can use this meal plan easily. I kept things really basic here and the recipes stick to a general paleo template. If you have a good handle on what your special diet requires, then you’ll probably be able to make substitutions and be fine, but it’s not tailored to any on specific sub-diet.

How will I get the next month’s meal plan?

All you have to do is visit the Shop and order when you’re ready! Easy peasy.

Will you be offering video tutorials to go along with your meal plans?

In time, yes. Right now, demand for the meal plans was so high that I’m keeping it simple to start. In the future there will the option to level-up with video tutorials and demos.

    Do you offer refunds?

Because the product is digital and designed around a short time-frame, it’s not possible to give refunds. If you’d like to check out one full week of the meal plan including the calendar with integrated recipes, shopping list, and full recipe text with no strings attached, click here or on the image below and scroll down to “Sign up for a free one-week meal plan!” That way you can try before you buy to see if it’s right for you.

    1. Steph,

This looks awesome! I am excited to see how this does. I often find myself opening the fridge multiple times to discover the same depressing options.

      Best of luck,
      Alex

P.s. There is a spelling error in the second paragraph: “These ultimate montly meal plans”, I believe the word should be “monthly”.

      1. Hi Alex,

I hope you find that it helps you create some structure 🙂

Oh thank you so much for catching that. Sometimes my brain goes faster than my fingers!

        1. Thank you Steph. This plan has been exactly what I needed. The hardest part for me is the meal planning because I’m not very creative when it comes to that. So, Thank you! 🙂

    2. I loved the free meal plans I got during CF open! Downloaded the free meal plan and found it quite similar to the first CF week. Will I get more variation the upcoming weeks if I order the new meal plans? I am used to paleo cooking and just love the plans for inspiration and new ideas!

      1. Hi Malin,

The structure is very similar because this is exactly how I set people up to not *need* meal plans in the future…by learning how to actually do it so it’s repeatable in real life. The recipes are generally different from the Open plan. My goal is that in time, you don’t actually have to buy a plan…that you’ll know how to do it on your own.

        1. Thanks for replying! I will think about it. Already adore your cookbook and the recipes on the blog and use them all the time. Helps me perform and feel good!!

    3. Hi ave tried to aget the free meal plan to see if it issomething i want to sign up to – however the website keeps saying this page is unavailble. Is this not an option anymore? – Thank you

    4. Thank you for doing this – not only are the recipes great, everything is so well organized and realistic. I appreciate the meal carry-overs and using up leftovers. So many meal plans I’ve seen call for a new recipe every meal – I’m only one person, and while I eat a lot, I don’t eat that much! I was eating the same things over and over and was so bored, and this has totally rocked my world, woken up my taste buds, and gotten me out of my rut. I also love the time it saves me – I spent hours searching for new recipes, creating a meal plan and a grocery list. I’ve been spreading the word like wildfire! Thanks again!

    5. I have really been wanting to be better at meal planning but I just can’t seem to get there. I have quite a few paleo cookbooks I’ve purchased and lots of recipes from websites! Since I can’t eat nightshade plants it just keeps me floundering. I had been so used to cooking with those. Especially the spices and tomatoes! Are your meal plans full of those items? It’s so hard to substitute chili powder, for example.

      1. Hi Saundra,

Oh I can totally relate. My husband can’t eat a lot of paleo-friendly foods because of his histamine intolerance, for example, so I know how frustrating it can be. There are definitely nightshades in the recipes.

I’d really recommend that for AIP you check out these resources: Nourish (http://amzn.to/1Q8jMAt), The Autoimmune Paleo Cookbook (http://amzn.to/1IXTNwJ), and The Paleo Approach Cookbook (http://amzn.to/1GAA30s). They are all specifically designed to be nightshade free. Hope this helps. 🙂
