I mesh twelve years of formal education in biology / human physiology (BS Biology–Human Physiology), science teaching experience (MA–Education), holistic nutrition training (Certified Holistic Nutrition Practitioner), and an unabashed love of tasty Paleo food on my site, Stupid Easy Paleo. I went Paleo in 2010, and it didn’t take long for me to decide I was never turning back.
I'm a lifelong athlete who's seen it all from 24-hour mountain bike races to Xterra triathlon to the CrossFit Regionals...and now, Olympic weightlifting. So I get where you're coming from. I've walked the talk.
My mission is to spread the word about how to make simple, tasty recipes to help people in their quests to just eat real food. I'm the author of the best-selling The Paleo Athlete: A Beginner’s Guide to Real Food for Performance (2014), and my award-winning print book, The Performance Paleo Cookbook: Recipes for Eating Better, Getting Stronger & Gaining the Competitive Edge (Page Street Publishing, 2015).
